FAQ

Questions towing owners ask.

How it works, what it costs and what happens on a call.

Will callers know it's AI?

It tells them upon request.

What happens on a call?

It answers with your company name, checks everyone is safe, takes the job and reads it back. Then it texts the job to your on-call driver, and the caller gets the driver's name and ETA by text.

What if my driver doesn't answer?

After 10 to 15 minutes it goes to the next driver, then your backup, then your phone.

What if it can't handle a call?

It takes the caller's name, number and what they need, and texts it to you or whoever you choose. Police calls can be put straight through to you.

Can it handle emergencies?

If someone is hurt or in danger, it tells them to call 911 right away.

Do my drivers need an app?

No. Jobs come in by text, and drivers reply Y to take them.

Does it quote prices?

Yes, from your own rate sheet. If you'd rather not quote on the phone, it says what you tell it to.

Does it take police and motor club calls?

Yes. Police calls can go straight to you. Motor club, billing and complaints are texted to whoever you pick.

Can I pick its name, voice and personality?

Yes. You choose the name, a male or female voice, how it sounds to callers, and anything it should never say.

Does it speak other languages?

English on every plan. Dispatch and Dispatch Pro add up to three more.

Does it work with my software?

Calls and jobs log to a Google Sheet. Towbook and other platforms where access is approved.

Will it work with my phone company?

Most phone companies offer call forwarding. We check yours during setup and send you the steps.

How long does setup take?

Once the service agreement is signed, we build your agent and test it with a real call. You forward your line when you're ready.

How much does it cost?

Support is $197 a month, Dispatch $997 and Dispatch Pro $1,697. Each plan includes minutes, and extra minutes are billed by the second.

Is it cheaper than hiring a dispatcher?

One full-time dispatcher costs $41,600 or more a year in wages and covers 40 hours a week. Dispatch is $11,964 a year and covers all 168.

Dispatch or Dispatch Pro?

Same service. Pro has more minutes and a lower rate on extra ones.

What if I go over my minutes?

Extra minutes are billed by the second. You get a text at 80%.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days. On Dispatch it's 14 days or 350 minutes, whichever comes first. Dispatch Pro starts on the Dispatch trial.

Is there a contract?

There is a service agreement, but no commitment. You can cancel anytime at no extra cost.

What if it goes down?

Calls go to your fallback number, and we credit the affected share of that month's fee.

Stop losing calls to the next number.

14 days free. Month to month after that.
